This is a nice restaurant amongst many in area, in addition this little Japanese restaurant has a small front decking where people can have their meals.
Like all Japanese restaurant they had small tables but they have allow reasonable spacing in between tables. For some reason Nizuni reminded me of Kyoto, not quite sure why.
We decided to start with the sashimi salad and tempura. There was a generous helping of mixed sashimi and lettuce, the spicy mayo sauce complimented the salad. I don’t think the tempura was the best that I had, it was crisp but it was a little on the greasy.
For the main we shared a set of sushi, dragon roll sushi and soft shell crab sushi. The dragon roll sushi and soft shell crab were not excessively big compared to some of the others I had in the past but all were very delicious, particularly liked the eel on top of the dragon roll sushi.
We were a little disappointed with sushi because it was a little overwhelming with the amount of wasabi they put between the rice and the fish.
I think the food was quite expensive in comparison to what some of the better restaurants I had. The service was very average and there was nothing exceptional which justified the high price.
